Personal tool
Encrypted, automatic backups for personal servers and data
MyBackups keeps off-site copies of one person's servers and personal data in their own Google Drive. It's a private tool, not a public service.
Encrypted before upload
Data is encrypted on the machine it comes from, before it leaves. Google Drive only ever stores encrypted blocks.
Least-privilege access
Uses Google's drive.file scope, so it can only see files it created itself, never the rest of the Drive.
Runs on a schedule
Scheduled snapshots with versioned history, so earlier copies of files can be restored.
